Shurtape CT-109 Cellulose Sealing Tape (Biodegradable)

Shurtape CT-109 Cellulose Tape is a hand-tearable, bio-degradable cellulose film tape used for extra security sealing, packaging and mending of 'hard-to-stick-to' surfaces and splicing. Also used where a biodegradable tape is needed. The tape is often used in the electronics industry since it is also static-free. The tape has a yellowish-hue on the roll, but is clear when applied. Cellulose tape also doesn't immediately snap back onto the roll like polypropylene film tape after a section is cut off which makes it easier to grab off the next piece.

3M Scotch 4298 Adhesion Promoter (Sponge Applicator Packet)

3M 4298 Adhesion Promoter is a liquid primer used for most low surfaces energy plastics. This would include common low surface energy plastics used for automotive dash and interior trim applications (TPO, PPO, PP, PC, PC and ABS, etc.). It is specifically formulated to be used with 3M Acrylic Foam Tapes. Since formulations and surface energies can vary for these types of materials, each application should be verified through testing. This adhesion promoter is supplied in an easy-to-use sponge applicator packet. 3M 4298 Application Procedure: the liquid contents of the packet should be completely used as soon as possible after opening. Hold packet upright and avoid squeezing an opened packet to prevent spillage of liquid contents. The packet can be opened by tearing across the top of the packet at the notches. This will expose the sponge applicator. Do not remove the sponge or squeeze a freshly opened packet. Handling the bottom section of the packet should enable application of 3M adhesion promoter 4298 with no mess. Apply a thin, uniform coating to the bonding surface, using the minimum amount that will fully coat the surface. A wet coating thickness of 0.002 inch or less is recommended. Apply promoter only to areas that will be fully covered with tape. Although drying times may vary due to temperature and/or humidity, a drying time of 30 to 90 seconds is typically indicative of this thickness. The primer should be dry before applying tape. For best results, apply tape immediately after primer application or no more than one hour afterwards. Be sure the primed surface remains free from contaminants prior to tape application.

3M Scotch-Blue 2090 Painters Tape for Multi-Surfaces is a medium adhesion tape ideal for paint masking on multiple surfaces including painted walls and trim, woodwork, glass and metal. It can be removed cleanly without adhesive transfer or surface damage for up to 14 days, even in direct sunlight. 3M Scotch-Blue should NOT be used wallpapers, unpainted wallboard, wood floors or poorly bonded surfaces. 3M 2090 Benefits: Adhesive sticks easily to the surface and stays intact upon removal which reduces labor and rework. Adhesive is light and UV stable. Adhesive has minimal adhesion buildup over time which helps produce high quality results. Crepe paper backing is conformable and offers consistent surface contact for a secure hold. The tape's backing is strong so it removes from surface without tearing, but is still easy to tear. The backing saturant is solvent and moisture resistant so it resists paint bleed-through and the adhesive doesn't transfer when the tape is wet.

JVCC UHB80FA-G Ultra High Bond Double Coated Tape is constructed of a grey foamed acrylic system which has excellent all around bonding properties which allows for very high performance in the most demanding of applications. Ideal for structural bonding applications in the transportation industry - e.g. fixing body and roof panels on buses and trucks and mounting/fixing car side molding and emblems. The pressure sensitive acrylic composition has very good tack; has excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces; and has high shear strength performance. Tape is carried on a red, release coated polyethylene liner that is easily removed. Has good UV resistance. Tape will bond to most surfaces including many plastics, composites, sealed woods and metals; however thorough evaluation is recommended when bonding to low energy surface material such as Polyethylene, Polypropylene, silicones and Teflon. For lower energy surfaces may need to use an adhesive promoter/primer such as IPA (isopropanol) on the substrate prior to application. When applying the tape after removing the release liner be careful not to contaminate the acrylic adhesive and try to immediately bond the tape to the surface without entrapping air between the tape and the surface it is being applied to. At a minimum application pressure should be 15 pounds per inch of tape width in order to achieve maximum bond strength. The dwell time the tape needs to be in contact with both surfaces, before it reaches it maximum adhesion, is 1 to 24 hours. Image does not show a full 18 yard roll.

JVCC FELT-08 Polyester Felt Tape is a 3mm thick synthetic needle punched felt made from polyester fibers. One side is felt, and the other side has adhesive. Commonly used for joining and temporarily repairing fabric, curtains and cloth drapes in backdrops. Felt material is also used for filtration applications, gaskets, wipers, and padding in a wide variety of industries. JVCC FELT-08 hides seams being photographed, and is used for applying a clean, dark edge to platforms, flats and portals. Can also be used to create matte borders or edges and to line display and jewelry cases. Application Instructions: On many of the adhesive felt products the rolls will have an approximately 2 inch to 4 inch leader of double-sided film tape applied to the release liner before the felt material starts. We recommend you either cut a small piece of felt off at the beginning of the roll with a pair of scissors to start, or peel the double-sided film tape off of the release liner to use as a way to begin applying the felt (try not to pull the double-sided film tape off of the felt backing though).

JVCC SRT-700 Silicone Rubber Tape

JVCC SRT-700 386 Silicone Rubber Tape is a self adhering, self bonding (an adhesive-free tape that fuses only to itself) red triangular silicone tape. It offers excellent electrical insulation properties, moisture, chemical and UV resistance. It's self bonding properties offer excellent conformability and adherence to irregular and nontraditional surfaces. JVCC SRT-700 silicone tape is made of a special unsupported silicone rubber compound which readily adheres to itself when wrapped under tension and forms a homogeneous mass within 24 hours. The adhesion can be accelerated with heat and pressure. When applying the tape make sure it overlaps itself (since it only adheres to its own backing) and stretch/pull the tape tightly around the object (the tape has a white guide line down the middle to help in overlapping it correctly). The tape creates an instant, permanent water-tight seal and can withstand temperatures from -65DF to +500DF. No adhesive (self bonding) insures no residue. The tape has a triangular thickness so it is thinner at the edges and thicker in the middle. Applications for JVCC SRT-700 include: watertight insulated over wrap of any electrical connection, indoors and out; automotive and general fluid hose repair (keep in vehicle for emergency repairs); replacement for heat shrinkable tubing; and replacement for electrical tape on marine applications.
