He told the crowd, Tonight you're going to see what the real Elvis Presley is all about! He then proceeded to gyrate and sing. Scotty Moore is on guitar, Bill Black on bass and DJ Fontana on drums. July 4, 1956. Part of the legendary collection of images of Elvis Presley taken by Alfred Wertheimer in March and July, 1956, when the singer went from virtual obscurity to international fame.
